This evening I was presented with a bit of a conundrum… While passing her camera over to her little brother to take a video or two, said little brother apparently found a way to accidentally delete all of her photos off of her camera… Tears abounded and I was left with a bit of an issue… Daddy I’m gonna fail a project… Well this is a great way to begin with my enjoyment of the bit of quiet time that I get once the kids go to sleep.

Anonymous Pro Free Font from Mark Simonson Studio

While surfing around today checking out an ARS article on the demise of the Monaco font I discovered this very readable and clean OS X and Windows font.  The font, Anonymous Pro is a free download and can be grabbed at here: Anonymous Pro.

The download contains 4 variations of the font.  You will notice that it is very easy to work with courtesy of the differentiation of the O and 0, 1 and l so on.  Check it out.

Sickcity.org – A unique twitter trending site that tracks how often people are tweeting about being sick.
Noobr.net – This site contains a variety of collections of themes, icons, graphics and other related content for designers and web masters.
Rememberthemilk.com – An online task management site that I have used for the past few years. Tonnes of features and very easy to use to GTD
Shell-fu – Shell-fu is a site dedicated to user submitted shell tips and tricks for Linux.  Most tips are BASH or perl.

In honour of my inability to sleep I figured that I would share some of the more pointless links that I have accumulated in the last couple of weeks/months.

First up, F*** my Life… Though most of these read as humour writing, it is worth a chuckle if your dark inside or can make you feel a tad better about yourself.

Next up we have: The Fail Blog… This is a particular favourite of mine. This site serves up user submitted photos of fails (both minor and extreme) for your perusal.

The last one up on the docket for the night is the newly found Bureau of Communications website. This URL will provide you with a number of charming and witty form certificates/letters for saying that awkward bit to a coworker or showing how much you really mean when you say “Sorry”.
